Our Child Care Facilities

Holiday Club

Our holiday and after school clubs provide happy, safe, flexible, reliable and low cost child care all round the year (except the period between Christmas and New Year). During the school term After-school Clubs are open to children from schools in the Northolt and neighbourhoods areas. When schools are closed The Holiday Club is open at All Saints Day Nursery to children from any school.

Main Nursery Area

The Pre-School Area accommodates children 3-5 years, according to their individual stage of development. This is a large bright area set out for their individual needs encouraging them to make their own choices in all that they do throughout the day and allowing them to develop their own self-help skills.

The area is set out to encourage Communication Language and Literacy, Creative Development, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, Physical, Personal, Social and Emotional skills for the future.

Baby Unit

The Baby Unit has a home from home warm and friendly environment. Activities in the baby room are based upon a child’s first experience of the world with all manners of sensory equipment to stimulate and encourage development. We encourage heuristic play which exposes babies to different natural textures and materials.

The baby unit is run by a fully qualified nursery nurse and assisted by a further qualified nursery member of staff. Each child has their own daily diary which is filled out from time of arrival, until they leave which will include everything they have done throughout the day, what they have had to eat and drink, times they have rested and what they have achieved that day.

Toddler Room

In order to ensure that children individual needs are being met, we have a Toddler Area for quiet activities. This is an additional area for children between 18 month to 2 years old where they can explore, learn and develop with an advantage of quiet environment.

Garden Area

We have a well organised garden that offers opportunity for digging and planting vegetables and flowers, such as sweet corn and daffodils. Baby toddlers and young children are encouraged to outdoor play in our Garden Area to ensure that their physical and healthy lifestyle is promoted.
